MICRO STORY #1: Music Has Power

Hi everyone! I am going to put up my first "creation". I am so excited, because I love writing so much! Please do comment on my little story, thank you!
Today I am going to be myself. I am going to stop worrying about grammatical or logical errors, stop pondering about the simplicity of my story, stop being so paranoid about "if this is okay". For the first time in forever, I am going to try my very best to just write out everything I think of. I love this feeling, because it makes me feel less pressured, it gives me the feeling of freedom.

#1: Music Has Power
A river of melodies and accompaniments flowed out of her hands as her fingers flew over the piano, as if expressing her wishes from the depths of her heart. Gentle but deep, to strong but longing. The music quieted suddenly......louder, deeper, stronger; higher, closer, almost......and a burst at the top, as she reached out for the sparkling diamond, right at the peak of Mount Everest, the tips of her fingers just missing it. Slow, rubato, she took one last look at the shimmering precious stone, so close but so out of reach. She turned away, dismay and disappointment flooding her song. Towards the end, softer and lighter, like citrine, healing her heart with the warmth of the Sun. The last touch, so gentle and tentative that it seemed delicate, her heart finally healed.

Her closed eyes opened slowly, and she lifted her fingers from the piano. She stood up. For a moment, the world stopped turning, clocks stopped ticking, time stood like an egg on a needle. Then the egg fell. Deafening cheers and roars filled the hall. She smiled her most kind, sincere and sweet smile, in the midst of a magnificent standing ovation.
